Many white crosses are also listed on notice board - The information is a metal plaque, placed on a rather large stone by Heritage SA, which depicts an island separated from the seat of civilisation, hence also a wall that is there - funded by a grant from the SA Government - showing the names of pioneers buried in this cemetery who died before 1980 and who do not have a headstone in the cemetery without having loved ones with the means to have a gravestone erected to their memories.
