1. Joseph WARREN was born c. June 1861 in London, England.
As yet I do not have his parents names, except that his father was J. WARREN, a gardener. Joseph served in the British Army from 1880 until about 1886, at various locations in England, Ireland, Gibraltar, and Egypt. He died 3rd May 1927 at Boraning (near Williams) W.A. and was buried 5th May 1927 at the Williams Cemetery, W.A.

2. Emma WARREN nee GROOM was born 20th March 1859 at Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England (to Thomas GROOM and Emma nee PARKER).
She died 27th July 1936 at the Narrogin Government Hospital, Narrogin, W.A. and was buried on 29th July 1936 at Marling Cemetery, W.A.

3 - - Joseph & Emma WARREN married at St.Lukes Church, Wellington Parish, Hanley, Stoke-upon-Trent, England.
They had the following children
i) Frances Ellen (Nelly) born c.1888 married Charles SMITH
ii) Lucy born c.1889
iii) Emma (Daisy) born 30 July 1890 at Doveridge, Derbyshire, England married Tom PEARCE
iv) Dorothy born c.1892 married Edward Beach CLARKE
v) May (Maisie) born 20 March 1895 at Highwood, Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, England. Married Stephen Joseph/Oliver HAWKINS 15 November 1915 at Perth Registry Office, W.A.
vi) John (Jack) born c.1896. Died in World War I.
vii) Joseph (Joe) born c.1897
viii) Richard (Dick) born 1901 married Beatrice COUCHER.
Joseph and Emma and all of their children migrated to Australia on the ship S.S. Ophir, arriving at Fremantle on 5th November 1908.
