Her age was 21 years and 6 months.
The funeral was one of the largest ever held in Narrogin, seventy-eight cars following the remains to the Narrogin Cemetery, where the Rev. Father Sheridan performed the last rites.
The chief mourners were her father and mother (Mr and Mrs J Barron), Mr and Mrs D Barron, Mr and Mrs H Barron, Mr and Mrs J Turner, Elma Barron (Sister Dominic), Cyril Barron and Rene Barron, The bearers were Messrs A P McCormick, F Barnett, J Brennan, L Pettit, J Dowsett and W Williams.
A tremendous array of floral tributes covered the grave.

Family members have made the correction as listed on this website."] Text[6]=["Walter BROTHERS","9 January 1876 - 18 Jauary 1964. the son of Elizabeth Brothers, was born in Attleborough, Norfolk, England. In his youth and early twenties, Walter was a stock tenderer, horses on the farm of Henry Colman (Of the Colmans Mustard family), Grt. Ellingham, Norfolk, before joining the Great Eastern Railway.
Sarah REEDER, 10 March 1874 - 05 January 1951 was born Grt. Ellingham, Norfolk, England, the third of seven children to James and Elizabeth Reeder. Sarah was a seamstress to the Colman family, before her marriage to Walter BROTHERS at the Primitive Methodist Chapel at Grt. Ellingham 03 November 1900.
Walter, Sarah, and their two children Ronald and Eileen, lived in Bow, Romford and Chadwell Heath, in London, before immigrating to Victoria on the S.S. Thermostocoles ex England 06 February 1911. Following approximately five years working on rural properties at Benalla, Drouin and Rochester, Walter moved the family to Babakin W.A. where he had been offered a farm management position.
By 1918 the family were living at the Narrogin Agricultural College where Walter was engaged as Horse-team Instructor, a skill he had learnt on the Colman farm in Norfolk.
Walter later worked for farmer Mr August Trefort and his family for many years.
Walters final working years was as caretaker of the Narrogin Town Hall and Council Chambers.
Walter and Sarahs home, was at the end of Marsh Street, adjacent to Goldsmiths brickyard.
Family: Son, Ronald, born in Bow, London, joined the W. A. Govt. Railways in Narrogin before transferring to Bunbury where he married Lynetta D. Clark 16/03/1927.
Ronald was killed on duty in a marshalling yard accident in Bunbury 23/01/1932.
Daughter, Eileen, born Chadwell Heath, London 11/11/1908, married bank clerk Eric Tissott of Collie, in Narrogin, circa. 1937. Eric, subsequently became a senior executive of the Reserve Bank in Sydney, where Eileen died on 24/08/1994.

In Perth he constructed the Mint and the Government Printing Office, and, in Katanning, Kobeelya and Piesse’s Building. In Narrogin he built Cornwall Buildings ("Mardoc"), the Vailima, the Anglican rectory, the original Catholic presbytery, 13 Havelock Street, etc.

First chairman of Narrogin Road Board, an early Mayor of Narrogin and a president of the Narrogin Agricultural Society. His belief in the town s potential, his encouragement to settlers and his support for all progressive programmes led to his being dubbed the Father of Narrogin.
